1st Mediterranean Earth Industry & Technology Exhibition

GEOTECH EXPO 2009 is the first fair-conference exclusively dedicated to the entire range of geotechnical technologies, equipment, products and services in the Mediterranean area.
The Fair will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2009 at the Nuova Fiera di Roma, and will be the meeting point for all professional operators from countries of the Mediterranean area who will find a wide panorama on the prospection, extraction and transport of underground fluids, platforms and equipment for on-site geotechnical investigations, perforation for deep foundations and horizontal directions, instrumentation and equipment for environmental analysis, land monitoring and restoration, CO2 capture and the seismic industry.

SPECIAL FOCUS: Water Med + CCS Expo

GEOTECH EXPO 2009 will take place on the same dates and in close synergy with another two Fairs.

WATERMED 2009, the1st Fair and Conference in the Mediterranean area on Water Technologies – industrial, wastewater, drinking water.

CCS EXPO, the 1st Fair in the Mediterranean area entirely dedicated to Carbon Capture and Storage, with technologies for the capture and storage of carbon dioxide, enabling to capture or separate the CO2 in, for example, fossil fuels, coal and natural gas, and then to compress and transport it by pipeline or tanks in underground geological storage areas.

From 30 September to 2 October, GEOTECH EXPO 2009 will be held in conjunction with the important International event dedicated to renewable energies and sustainable development ZEROEMISSION ROME 2009, which includes also: EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN 2009 (wind energy), PV ROME MEDITERRANEAN 2009 (pv technologies), CSP EXPO SOLAR TECH 2009 (concentrating solar power and solar thermal plants), CO2 EXPO 2009 (carbon credit market), AGRIENERGY EXPO 2009 (agro energies), and BIOFUEL EXPO 2009 (sustainable liquid biofuels).
